Seven sweet Valentine’s cards

Heart valentine's card with brown envelope

I’ve never been one to go all-out on Valentine’s day but I do think it’s a great excuse to celebrate the people you love – whether that’s your partner, friends, or family.

My sisters and I usually send each other little cards and heart-shaped chocolates in the post. It’s a simple but lovely way to spread some love, no matter your relationship status.

If you’re looking for a card for someone special, here are some fun ideas. All of these cards come 'naked' without a plastic cello sleeve. Because who needs those anyway?

For that person who’s completely brilliantly wonderful. Choose from four colours.

A card that doubles up as coupons. Who doesn’t want an automatic argument win this Valentine’s day?

For those who don’t really celebrate but want something suitably non-mushy

The sign of true love

For a friend as fabulous as dogs in jumpers.

And how lovely is this crown card? Plus the keeping-it-simple mini card, pictured at the start. (Photographed by Amelia Pemberton.)

Which one would you choose? I love that you can buy the little hearts card in packs of 3 or 5. I’ve had some funny looks in the past when I’ve handed over multiple Valentine’s cards at the counter!
